We would like to introduce a case study of the life jackets we handle: 'TK-210C, TK-210Y, TK-200ARS'. The elementary school that has implemented these jackets is located in an area where a tsunami of about 5 meters is anticipated. Since flooding can reach the second floor of the school building, life jackets are considered necessary for protection, and they have been newly introduced as disaster preparedness supplies. They are usually stored in a warehouse, but once a year, all students participate in a disaster drill wearing the jackets and practicing evacuation. (Approximately 200 students in total) The fire department also cooperated in the drill, and many parents participated as well. The mandatory wearing of life jackets with the cherry blossom mark has been enforced, and penalties for violators have begun to be imposed.

Due to the diversification of marine leisure activities, in order to prevent maritime accidents, since 2018, it has been mandatory to wear life jackets with the cherry blossom mark at all times when boarding small vessels. Starting from February 1, 2022, penalties will be imposed on violators. (Note: Points will be assigned to the captain for violations.) Life jackets that have been tested by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and confirmed to meet safety standards bear the cherry blossom mark. Failing to wear a life jacket with the cherry blossom mark constitutes a violation. Choose a life jacket that matches the navigation area. The survival rate for those wearing life jackets when falling into the water is more than twice that of those not wearing them. The solid type【TKW-310F】is an easy-to-work life jacket that features a buoyancy body with cutouts that makes it easy to lean forward. The waist-mounted automatic inflation type【BSP-6120RS】is a life jacket that is less likely to inflate even when splashed by large waves or water. *When falling into the water, a sensor that detects water will activate and inflate. Both have obtained Type A approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. They use a highly dirt-resistant PVC barrier coat fabric that is difficult to stain and easy to rinse off. <Features> ■TKW-310F - The front has no unnecessary protrusions, preventing snagging during net retrieval or deployment. - Part of the back is made of mesh. - The soft inner fabric provides excellent comfort. ■BSP-6120RS - The cover can be removed and hand-washed. - Being a waist-mounted type, it is comfortable in summer and when wearing winter clothing for warmth. - It features a burst zipper, eliminating the risk of accidental inflation of the air chambers and improving maintenance. - The belt is made of a strong and thick new material to prevent shifting during work. - The inflation device uses the UML Pro Sensor Elite. The double indicator-equipped inflator allows for easy confirmation of the cartridge or cylinder, making safety checks straightforward.
